How to get security risk assessment, and a security plan

Thursday, August 7th, 2008

Ask yourself this question?
Why is crime still so prevalent, despite all the technology that is available?
Security Risk.

Let me try and demonstrate where the problem lies by relating a similar scenario to you.
The following story vividly illustrates why there is still so much crime!

Alwinco is a security risk website.
Alwinco place this that everyone can see crime is real.
That you read this website will realised the security risk.

Maybe know you will take action to protect yourself
The same principle applies to your car. You need to first ascertain what is wrong with your car before it can be repaired, bearing in mind that not all men in blue overalls are motor mechanics, and even if they are mechanics, a Vehicle A mechanic cannot necessarily assist you with Vehicle C and if you ask a Vehicle C mechanic for a specific part, there is always the possibility that it may not work when needed. If you get a quote to repair the vehicle, once you KNOW what is wrong with it, you can plan to fix it!

Is your WILL to keep criminals OUT greater than the criminal’s will to find a way IN?

You feel sick but instead of going to a doctor, you visit the chemist instead. You describe your symptoms to the Pharmacist, who dispenses some tablets which give you some relief, but don’t really cure you, despite the fact that you take them religiously. Why? Simply because you are going to the pharmacy before you go to the doctor, when you should clearly be reversing the process ie
First consulting a doctor for a diagnosis, obtaining a prescription and THEN going to the pharmacy

So, ask yourself another question….
Why shouldn’t the same principle apply to your security requirements?
Crime is like a cold or “the flu”.  A cold won’t just disappear overnight, but if you consult with a doctor and take antibiotics, you WILL start feeling better.  Security plan

Similarly, if you consult a risk assessment professional before you see a security company, your safety WILL improve!
Effective security stems from “Security Knowledge” and this knowledge can only be supplied by an expert, not an alarm salesperson. Security solution
Before you can confront the problem (Security), you need to identify the problem (Security risk), and to this end you need to get a professional risk assessment, and a plan of action.

Once this has been done, you can compare the information the security company has given you with the solutions a risk assessment has given you. Security Plan
Alwinco can provide you with a feasibility study of possible security solutions

Don’t you think that if you have a:
• Security Risk Assessment
• A Security Plan and
• A Feasibility Study, offering possible security solutions…

….you can enter into far more effective negotiations with the security company?
Remember, there is far more to security than just installing an alarm system.
A security risk assessment will help you identify where the hot spots are in your street, (Drive way) and how big a problem these hot spots present!
If the elements which allow the perpetration of crime are addressed and eliminated, crime CAN be reduced, and even eradicated.

Independent Risk Assessment Company can help with security plan.
Remember Security is knowledge.

Over the last 15 years crime has evolved.  Criminals are more sophisticated, better equipped and more knowledgeable.  They have access to the Internet and advanced technology. Many criminals have also had some form of combat training i.e. SAP, security or military training, which means they know how to protect themselves!
And, they know that if they fail, they will at best go to jail, and at worst, lose their lives.
Therefore, in most cases, the criminal’s will (willpower) to survive is far greater than the homeowner’s will to protect himself.

Now ask yourself one final question….
Is YOUR safety and security being adequately and effectively addressed? Is your will to keep criminals OUT greater than the criminal’s will to find a way IN?

Independence
ALWINCO is an independent security consultantancy, (Security Risk Assessor), 100% focused on delivering cost-effective and flexible security solutions to enhance our clients’ security and safety.
Security Risk Assessment in short, we provide the information with regard to “the what, how, when and where”.
Our multi-skilled team of risk assessors is all professionals in the security field and they are willing to share their expertise.
You should also bear in mind that traditionally the security industry has a high staff turnover, and many consultants have no real experience. You should, therefore, always ask,
How long a consultant has been in the security business before you entrust him with the task of ensuring your safety- Giving  a Security Risk Assessment

Quality Consultants

My name is Andre and I am the owner and founder of ALWINCO, a security risk assessment company. I have 25 years experience in the security environment, and I have investigated thousands upon thousands of crime scenes over the years.
Combined with extensive experience in law enforcement, Alwinco’s security team has over a 100 years experience, and it is this knowledge and experience of security risk assessment that gives us the edge and enables us to deliver the most professional and high quality service.

So, why is it so important to contract the services of an independent Risk Assessment Company?
The answer should be obvious!
YOU PAY FOR AN UNBIASED OPINION, AS WE HAVE NO HIDDEN AGENDAS AND NO FINANCIAL INTEREST IN THE IMPLEMENTATION PHASE.
Anyone can give you advice or recommendation on how to make your premises more secure but finding a company that is able to find the right balance or plan for your business or home is likely to be far more difficult. Balance and plan mean security risk assessment.
